Carnegie Mellon Racing Driverless Documentation
Welcome to the documentation for Carnegie Mellon Racing’s 2024-25 driverless racecar, 24a. Due to various hardware considerations like compute capability and sensor fidelity, it will be nearly impossible to recreate our exact pipeline, therefore this project will focus on high-level concepts as well as implementation considerations for each of our software, electrical, and mechanical subsystems. These documents should serve as a heading for those interested in developing their own autonomous racing vehicles for Formula Student Driverless competition, specifically navigating an unknown 3-meter-wide track demarcated by blue (left boundary) and yellow cones (right boundary).
